Kathryn (Kathy) Jeanette Drobot Hill passed away in Feeding Hills, MA on February 3, 2012. Kathy was a teacher for 38 years and a lifelong inspiration to many.
So sad to hear of Cathy's passing, too soon in life. She was one of my friends in many activities, including math, science, and honor society. I remember she was either just in front, or just behind me at graduation. A lovely, caring person. I hope she had a good life.
A friend from first grade! One of the many intelligent girls I grew up with - they made it natural to be a feminist. I remember spending a little time with her at the 20th; we just picked up our friendship as if no time had gone by.
Her being a teacher is not a surprise: she was a thoughtful and intelligent friend. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. In the eighth grade at West Miami Junior High, she encouraged me to ask out a mutual friend--my first date!
