Ed and I were Tenor Sax buddies back at CP and even before HS. He was a funny guy. Always happy. It was an honor knowing him.  For the times I did. MY prayers go out to all of his family. May he RIP forever!!!

Our list seems to grow longer each day, though each and every one of our classmates hold special places in our hearts. I didn't know Ed very well in high school - however, I will remember him best for his kindness during the reunion at the Doral. I was extremely shy in HS and although I've overcome that now, the reunion took me right back. Here I was, the "wallflower" again. But Ed, having sensed it came right over and asked me to dance. It may seem like a small thing, but to me I will always keep that special memory from a very special person. Ed was surely a gift to this world and he will not be forgotten.

Ed was my best friend in high school. After school, we remained fishing buddies while we were both still in Miami. Ed was the most versatile wind player I've ever known - several instruments and all styles.

Ed was also a talented photographer (trained by his father, who was a pro). Ed also had a talent for finding little used and interesting new words.

My heart goes out to his family.

Very saddened to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great guy and good friend in HS. We played in the same private band together and just before our senior year travelled to Hendersonville, NC for a summer-long gig waiting tables and playing nightly at a resort called the Osceola Inn.  We reconnected a couple of years ago on Face Book and I thoroughly enjoyed our many chats. Ed would want to tell you that he knew the Lord and I can rejoice that he is now in the presence of Jesus!!! ...Come to Christ!!
