I remember Julian well on our football team. He was one of our big, tough, and dedicated linemen. We could always count on him to do the job well.

Julian and I became good friends 3 years after HS. We had many adventures together and many many wonderful times. I actually met his wife before he even met her and then he fell in love with her while I was in Austin, TX. He was just such a great guy and even gave me confidence in myself. Made me feel like I belonged!! I was so sad to hear about his passing on facebook. Jr RIP

Since it says memories about, the funniest one I have of him and it really was not a funny time. We went to some lounge in NMB. We were sitting there watching the show when all of a sudden everybuddy was hitting the floor except for two dummies, Jr and I, we stand up looking around, While someone was shooting a gun into the place and hit an African American male. I have never seen Jr move so fast in my life dragging me with him to get out of that place.

Jr had the honor of meeting my newly wife, now ex and my ready made family. He became a brother to me. Although I did not know him in HS they say it is better late then never and I am so honored to have known Jr.

Julian, I always callied him Junior, was a good friend all through High School and we kept in touch even though he had moved to Texas by the time I got home from Viet Nam.  He was a law enforcement officer in Texas and retired after 20 years with a medical disability.  He died on 8-31-2009 from heart related complications.  Say a toast in his honor at the reunion!!
